I checked this book out from the library a few weeks ago. I just grabbed everything about St. Patrick’s Day, and didn’t pay much attention to who wrote it. Our Favorite St. Patrick’s Day Book

This book is written by The Voice of the Martyrs, a Christian organization dedicated to bringing assistance to the persecuted church worldwide. It is a great story of the true reason for St. Patrick’s Day. It shares of his kidnapping, conversion, escape from slavery and the Lord’s calling on his life to return to Ireland (while risking his own life) in order to bring the gospel to the lost he had grown to love. A powerful story, and a great way to teach our children about God’s heart for the lost, and sacrificing all for the spread of the Gospel.
