In many ways, motherhood was rude awakening for me. I’m eight years into it now and just starting to feel like I am coming up for air.

One of the biggest adjustments to motherhood was learning how to find time and energy to be in the Bible. I wanted it. I needed it. Yet — with every intention of opening my Bible that day — I often just didn’t get to it.
